In the days following the end of World War II, brothers Louis and Al Ritter established a consulting practice in Chicago to assist policyholders in the management and quantification of property and business interruption claims. The firm grew throughout the next two decades, becoming one of the largest regional practices.
At a time when the needs of clients were expanding both professionally and geographically, Lou’s sons, Gerald and Kenneth Ritter, joined the practice in 1977. As part of its growth, the firm expanded its professional resources to include all of the disciplines necessary to assist in every aspect of a claim. In addition, our partner Steve Dimakos joined the company in 1984 and helped to build our international presence and presided over the addition of some of the most premiere forensic analysts in the world.
